The Job's Mission:

As the Marketing Communications Associate, you will be part of Stryker's Instruments division and play a key role in helping us deliver on our mission of making healthcare better by coordinating the delivery and supporting the design of advertising/marketing communications materials to effectively represent the products, services, brands and the organization to customers and prospects. We are looking for a collaborative, proactive team member who is eager to make a difference and join Stryker on our mission of making healthcare better.

What you will do

Support the Instruments Europe Marketing Communications Team in a wide variety of Marketing Communications initiatives. Working across the 6 Business Units of Stryker Instruments, you will support business growth by executing Marketing Communications strategies that strengthen connections between leaders and employees, foster best-in-class customer experience and position Stryker as a trusted partner.

  • Understand and execute BU marketing communications strategy ranging from internal communications, direct marketing and digital marketing activities.

  • Understand the meaning of a product or portfolio, approaches to brand structure and their strategic implications.

  • Understand customer groups, including why they buy the product or service, to support the development of persuasive, benefit-driven messaging.

  • Support the marketing communications team in developing and executing communications and campaign strategy for annual marketing plan, new product launch plans, etc.

  • Develop impactful customer-facing and internal collateral material and content (video, print, digital) in partnership with relevant internal stakeholders (Brand Marketing, US MarCom etc.) and creative agencies.

  • Coordinate the translation process of customer-facing marketing material with translation agencies and regional marketing teams.

  • Support the legal, regulatory, clinical approval processes of customer-facing marketing material.

  • Manage content on internal platforms such as Highspot and Workfront upholding file naming conventions, archiving process, users groups etc.

  • Ensure all marketing material is consistent with Stryker brand guidelines and train internal stakeholders on brand identity.

  • Support the development of effective omnichannel digital campaigns using Google and Linkedin advertising, Email Marketing, Youtube etc.

  • Support internal events and communications (ie: Town Halls, leadership videos & presentations, sales meeting)

What you need

  • 1+ year of work experience (including internships)

  • Previous experience in a multicultural environment preferred.

  • Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in graphic design and video editing software such as PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, etc.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Another European language is preferred.

  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills.

  • Previous experience in digital marketing is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines.

  • Must be able to understand and work within complex matrix organization and develop positive relationships.

  • Absolute team player, eager to learn, accountable.
