The Key Account Manager is responsible for all commercial activities within a selected group of Key accounts, including the business growth, profitability of the business, and financial and strategic goals.

Aligning with key decision makers and cross-functional stakeholders, the Key Account Manager implements business strategy with selected accounts, and facilitates that implementation through building the relationship.

This position is part of the European KAM program and will be located in The Netherlands or Belgium.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Responsible for business growth in the selected key accounts in Europe, maximizing sales growth and profitability

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing and agreements

  • Management of new development projects

  • Define and achieve value-add for account and Pall

  • Lead Account relationship management, leverage relationships with decision makers at headquarter, technical center and key sites, build relationships across all levels of customer organization.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or equivalent background in Refining and Petrochemical industries

  • Sales account management experience and solid understanding of Fuels & chemical industry

  • Willingness and ability to travel (approximately 50%)

  • Excellent communication, organizational and technical presentation skills

  • In-depth market knowledge and business development strategic approach

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Consultative Skills - Ability to Interface with Senior Level Decision Makers

  • Negotiation Skills (Internal and external)

  • Capability to build a value proposition, based on product differentiators vs. competition and monetization
