Job Title: Industrial Electrician

Job Description

We are looking for an Industrial Electrician - Maintenance Technician to join our team in Alliance, OH. This role involves working on afternoon OR night shift hours and demands overtime. The role involves industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting from 12v-480v and 3 phase, troubleshooting electrical circuits, motors, lighting, control boxes/panels, machine controls, and more. Minor mechanical work on conveyors, gears, and bearings will also be part of the job. The hired individual will also assist in repairing facility equipment including conveyors, robotic arms, rollers, furnaces, and mobile equipment. The individual will also assist with special installations and projects and should understand drawings and schematics. The pay rate for this role is $29-$30.73 per hour, depending on experience.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Alliance, Ohio.

Work Environment

This role is based in a union environment in a heavy industrial and dirty environment. The work area can get hot around the furnaces but fair temperatures are maintained throughout the rest of the plant. The noise level in the work environment can get loud around the tube drop-off areas. The job involves standing, walking, and talking or hearing, frequently using hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. 800 working hours are required to get brought into the union, with pay dues starting after 30 days. Once in the union, you can bid on positions and can eventually get a set shift. The work week is typically 50-60 hours long.
