Software Engineer

ABOUT THIS POSITION

We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Software Engineer with a background

in web development to join our growing team. The successful candidate will

have eligibility for a Top Secret Clearance and be knowledgeable in full stack

web development.

Primary responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable cloud software solutions

using programming languages such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and

Python.

• Design, develop, and test web applications using RESTful APIs and CORS.

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

• Deploy applications to the cloud, using various containerization technologies.

• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and managing

time effectively.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project

requirements.

• Troubleshoot and debug code issues using debugging tools and techniques.

• Write clean, readable, and well-documented code that adheres to up-to-date

industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 2+ years of related experience.

• Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.

• Experience with frontend development frameworks (e.g. Angular, React,

Vue.js, etc.)

• Experience with backend development frameworks (e.g. Express.js, Spring,

Ruby)

• Knowledge of SQL and relational database design principles.

• Exposure to containerization technology, such as Docker, Rancher, and

Kubernetes.

• Understanding of RESTful APIs and best practices.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning.

• Eligibility for a Secret clearance, Top Secret preferred

• Be a U.S. citizen.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with React.js for frontend development.

• Familiarity with Spring Boot for backend development.
