Job Title: Field Service Technician

Job Description

We are hiring for a Field Service Technician, where you will perform various preventative maintenance services on power generation systems at customer job sites. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting faulty equipment and making necessary repairs, performing tests and maintenance on various types of switchgears, and conducting load bank testing of generators. You will also perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs, retrofits, and upgrades on generators, interpret specifications for job costing, and prepare detailed service reports and parts orders.

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

• This is a fully on-site position in Lorton, Virginia.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, first shift position requiring travel across the DMV area to perform maintenance and repairs on generators at various sites such as hospitals, universities, hotels, and residential properties. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with on-call duties required one out of every six weeks, including holidays and weekends (On Call Hours: 4 PM to 7 AM)
