Minimum Qualifications Seven years of experience performing business/data/system analysis or functional testing oriented tasks related to NYSDOL Unemployment Insurance or equivalent system(s), including one year of supervisory experience. Experience directly related to data migration UAT and agency executive and federal reporting is preferred. The following degrees may substitute for the general experience as indicated: - Associate’s degree and four years of experience- Associate’s degree including 15 semester credit hours in computer science and three years of experience- Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience- Bachelor’s degree including 15 semester credit hours in computer science and two years of experience- Master’s degree in computer science or related field substitutes for an additional year of experience

Duties Description Under the direction of a Manager Information Technology Services 2, SG-29, within the Chief Technology Office, Business Application Services, LWE; the project Coordinator will be responsible for leading ITS staff in supporting DOL and their vendor throughout the remaining UAT, data migration, Go-live and post Go-live phases of the UISIM project. The Project coordinator will work collaboratively with DOL program staff to create processes to ensure the data is accurate, meets quality standards and is used as intended. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:• Oversee processes for analyzing data migration results during UAT• ITS lead for data migration post go-live issue triage• Ensure data is deemed fit for purpose by developing data quality rules and regularly auditing data. Log data issues and work towards the resolution of data issues.• Reference and Master Data - Define and review code values / code lists and identify sources of master data.• Metadata – Define and review business terms and associated attributes including calculations, business rules• Data Certification – Review reports and visualization to ensure they are performing as expected and meeting the needs of the business ensuring the data is viewed as trusted.• UAT – Provide oversight and corrective action as needed to ensure both system functionality and data quality is adequately assessed as part of the UAT application testing• Subject Mater Expertise - Provide guidance, testing support and validation as data assets, dashboards and reports are built for their area to ensure that they conform to business processes built for their area to ensure that they conform to business processes
