Description We are in the process of recruiting a Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Akron, Ohio. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity and is pivotal in providing hardware support for our diverse range of technical equipment, including printers, PCs, laptops, servers, and audio/visual equipment. You will be entrusted with training end users on IT applications and systems, and will be expected to maintain a strong overall knowledge of Windows XP/7 and networking.

Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive technical support for a variety of hardware, including printers, PCs, laptops, and servers • Handle audio/visual equipment and ensure their optimal performance • Train end users on the effective use of IT applications and systems • Maintain a deep understanding of Windows XP/7 and utilize this knowledge in troubleshooting • Use your networking knowledge to resolve connectivity issues • Leverage your strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with users • Document technical issues and their resolutions accurately • Be ready to use your technical certifications to address complex technical issues • Troubleshoot issues with Microsoft Office and ensure its smooth operation within the organization • Be responsible for the configuration and management of Active Directory/Group Policy. Requirements • Proficiency in Citrix Technologies

• Experience with Database management

• Knowledge of EO/IR systems

• Familiarity with Lotus Notes

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Experience with Active Directory

• Ability to troubleshoot Computer Hardware

• Experience with Configuration Management

• Proficiency in Deskside Support

• Knowledge of Desktop Hardware

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Willingness to stay updated with latest technology trends

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
