Accounting Consultant - Plan Accounting
Contract - Hybrid Schedule (2-days per week in Akron, OH)
LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY: Must currently live close enough to drive to Akron, Ohio 2 days each week.)
Overview:
Jefferson Wells is seeking an Accounting Consultant to assist a large manufacturing client of ours with offices in the Akron, OH area. This role requires experience in a plant environment and will support the day-to-day and close activities. This will be a contract-consulting position, with an expected duration of at least 6 months or more. Our consultants are hired as W-2 employees and are paid on an hourly basis though our regular weekly payroll. Health Benefits are also available.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Performing accounting and analysis activities tied to financial statement closing.
• Account reconciliation review.
• Supporting plant closing activities.
The successful candidate will possess:
• 5+ years of accounting and analysis activities tied to financial statement closing.
• Experience in a plant environment.
• Extensive experience in a SOX environment.
• Large ERP experience (Oracle or SAP.)
