The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-cycle accounting, cost accounting, and team management. responsibilities:

• Full-Cycle Accounting: Oversee and manage all aspects of the accounting cycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards and regulations.

• Cost Accounting: Implement and manage cost accounting systems and procedures, ensuring accurate cost tracking and analysis.

• Team Management: Lead, train, and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

• Bank Reconciliations: Perform and oversee bank reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely financial records.

• Subsidiary General Ledger Reconciliations: Manage and reconcile subsidiary general ledgers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

• Balance Sheets: Prepare, review, and analyze balance sheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

• Multi-Company and Intercompany Transactions: Manage multi-company and intercompany transactions, ensuring accurate recording and reporting.

• Training and Mentoring: Provide training and mentorship to accounting staff, promoting professional development and skill enhancement.

• Cash Management/Treasury Management

qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting, with a focus on the manufacturing industry.

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field.

• Industry Experience: Proven experience in the manufacturing sector is required.

• Cost Accounting: Strong background in cost accounting practices and principles.

• Team Management: Demonstrated experience in managing and leading accounting teams.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in bank reconciliations, subsidiary general ledger reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

• Software Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft AX or Sage 100 is highly desirable.

• Attributes: Must be a driven problem solver who loves challenges and has a keen eye for detail.
