ABOUT THE JOB:

The primary focus of the Collections Supervisor is to drive improvements in the daily collection effectiveness of their collection team.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Assist Collectors with executing against their key performance indicators, coach collectors as necessary on ways to improve their collection performance.

  • Mentoring of team members to drive improvements in day-to-day skills and career planning.

  • Drive adherence to the Collections Operating System to ensure consistency in approach and escalation of difficult items.

  • Review, discuss, and plan performance of Collectors through Key Performance Indicators and scorecards.

  • Responsibility for hiring, monitoring, training, coaching and evaluation, including discipline of collections team as required.

  • Ensure account assignment is completed and worked thoroughly

  • Assist customers directly with issues and remove obstacles preventing payment of outstanding invoices.

  • Handle projects and assignments, assigned by the Director of Collections that drive efficiency with the collections process.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in a supervisorial position and previous experience within an accounts receivable setting

  • Ability to make decisions quickly and efficiently.

  • Solid written and verbal communication to all levels of the business.

  • Adaptability, with ever evolving business processes.

  • Willingness to learn and eager to develop personal brand.
