New York University Research Assistant in the Division of Science [Physics] - Dr. Ingyin Zaw in Abu Dhabi, United States
The Zaw research group in the Division of Science, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a research assistant to work on multiwavelength studies of active galactic nuclei (AGNs).
The successful applicant will reduce and analyze multiwavelength data and study AGN activity and star formation in galaxies. The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment consisting of PhD-level scientists, graduate students and undergraduate students.
Applicants must have a bachelor’s in physics, astrophysics, or related field. Prior research experience and ability to code are required. Candidates with knowledge of active galactic nuclei and experience with astrophysical data are preferred.
