Aggreko Junior Mechanical Technician in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

We’re looking for a Mechanical Technician for Abu Dhabi, who will be focusing on the delivery of planned maintenance programs to ensure reliable and safe asset operation. You will coordinate and undertake a range of maintenance activities within defined operating procedures and, also conduct safety inspections and comply with Aggreko's safety regulation. You will provide first level technical advice to customers and may resolve/troubleshoot implementation problems.

What you’ll do:
Perform mechanical servicing activities and general equipment maintenance in line with operating procedures and work instructions including A & B service, green carding / post contract assessment & pre-delivery inspection, engine fault finding / repair and preventative maintenance.
Carry out mechanical troubleshooting and fault diagnostics as required.
Assist with site installation (to designed layout), commissioning and decommissioning to acceptable Aggreko standards if needed.
Respond effectively to technical support of field equipment breakdowns in timely manner in and out of working hours when required.
Ensure the completion of equipment repairs are on time, to standard and within agreed budgets for both specific repairs and overall department budgets.
Adhere to Global Service Centre Standards (GSCS) within working environment at all times.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or acceptable equivalent qualifications/experience
At least 2 years of experience in the mechanical field.
Availability to travel as and when required.
Possession of valid local Driving License as per the need of the business
Site/Depot based job requiring both technical and manual work to be conducted in all weather and terrain.
