Our Client and Broker Engagement (CBE) team manages AIG’s major client relationships across all product lines, as well as driving new business activity. The team serves major clients and broker partners through an elevated, personalized experience – our client-centric framework drives a consistent experience and best practice, while allowing flexibility to meet the client’s needs.

How you will create an impact

  • To promote and conduct Telemarketing sales for general insurance products over the phone to new and existing customers.

  • To upsell/cross-sell the company’s products and services proactively when opportunity arises.

  • To understand customer’s needs and make appropriate product recommendations.

  • To achieve Key Performance Indicators including sales, quality and operational standards.

  • Consistently maintaining our highly ethical and professional approach to all current and prospective clients.

  • To resolve customers’ problems, feedback and complaints by applying appropriate skills.

  • To feedback customer’s concerns to Team Manager for improvement.

  • To maintain amicable working relationship with Call Center colleagues and business partners.

  • To assist ad hoc initiatives / projects when required by management.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Prior telesales and/or call center experience.

  • Fresh Diploma, Higher Nitec, Nitec holders are welcome to apply.

  • Basic Concept Principle (BCP) and Personal General Insurance (PGI) certification are required for the role.

  • Applicants without BCP & PGI will be considered if they possess the right skill-set & attitude.

  • Knowledge of Call Centre Systems & MS Office.

  • Bilingual in English and local second language preferred.

  • Highly motivated and results driven.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service mindset with positive attitude.

  • 5-day office hours work week excluding weekends and public holidays.

  • 12 months contract, renewal yearly subject to performance.

  • Remuneration includes Monthly Basic + KPI Achievement Incentive + Commission + 1 month completion bonus.
