Job Summary

We are seeking an Assistant Technician 1 for our Formulation Services Department located in Elphinstone, Tranent .

Working as an Assistant Technician 1 you’ll join a team responsible for the storage and control of test items and the preparation of formulations supporting toxicology studies.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of Vehicles used to prepare formulations

  • Preparation of formulations using a variety of techniques

  • Delivery of Formulations

  • Taking archive and formulation analysis samples

Applicants should have:

  • At least an HNC or equivalent in a scientific subject

  • A good attention to detail

  • IT skills

  • Good communication skills

The salary for this position is £22,707. In exceptional circumstances where the candidate has relevant equivalent experience, this will be taken into consideration.
