Project Manager

Join Sedgwick's corporate Projects & Optimisation team as a Senior Project Manager. Your role is critical in steering key strategic projects from inception to completion, encompassing client, colleague, operations, technology, and new business solutions.

What are my accountabilities?

  • Defining the project roadmap to create timelines and key milestones.

  • Execute the agreed project management plan, adhering to key milestones and deliverables, , tracking progress and ensuring relevant reports are provided in a timely manner.

  • Ensure integration of project communications with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and informed decision-making for desired outcomes

  • Responsible for managing all direct reports and indirect reports so far as they are engaged on the project.

  • Handle changes/requests and facilitate the approval process by liaising with stakeholders.

  • Define and analyze project risks (technical, commercial, contractual) and develop risk mitigation plans.

  • Plan and align all costs, milestones, and resources.

  • Preparing for and managing Steering Committees with business owners, sponsors and other key stakeholders either local or global

  • Project documentation and delivery accountability

  • Developing project change and communications plan

  • Post project review and analysis

About you :

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Demonstrate proven project management experience, particularly in delivering large and multi-faceted projects, with essential expertise in technology implementation.

  • Experience working in the Insurance or Financial Services industry would be advantageous.

  • Possess strong Change Management and process improvement skills.

  • Travel to other work locations (including regional and interstate) may be required.

  • Exhibit a strong ability to engage and influence senior leaders and executive teams.
