Summary

Incumbents are fully qualified to execute job/role accountabilities working independently on most aspects of the job. Work is performed within established professional standards and practices. Tasks are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required to complete recurring assignments independently and to determine the best methods to follow to complete assignments. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results may have a negative impact on the divisions/departments operations, schedules, and/or performance goals. Works under general Supervision. Situations not covered by standard processes, procedures and methods are referred to manager or expert resource. May demonstrate work methods to new employees. Builds internal and external relationships, with emphasis on those that facilitate the achievement of job/role accountabilities, such as relationships with key suppliers, customers and internal service.

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

  • Manage business activities to ensure compliance with applicable Conflict Minerals Law.

  • Coordinate supplier survey campaign and ensure engage suppliers to obtain conflict minerals compliance data within timeline.

  • Analyze supplier data for completeness, accuracy and integrity as well as identifying risks and actions for risk mitigation.

  • Communicate with internal clients and facilitate communication with customers to ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Responsible to conduct regular market research on latest new or regulations changes & assist in impact analysis.

  • Provide input on Celestica policy baseline services on regulatory compliance.

  • Initiate continuous improvements on process and system.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

  • Global supplier engagement experience

  • Knowledge on Conflict Minerals Law

  • Data management and processing skills

  • Skills in utilization of MS Office application

  • Proficient in spoken and written English

  • Proficiency in Japanese (minimum N2) or Korean (minimum grade 4) language is an added advantage

Physical Demands

  • The job works in a normal office environment with no undue exposure to noise, odors, dust etc.

  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.

  • Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.

Typical Experience

  • One to Four years relevant experience

Typical Education

  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
