Fusion Wood Products General Laborer in Elkhart, Indiana
- Primary Responsibilities: Pushes wood pieces into machine. Catches wood pieces as they exit machine. Bags completed orders. Moves completed bundles from end table to finished goods rack. Applies straps, wrap and/or blocks to finished bundle per customer requirements. Places product tag on finished bundle/bag, ensuring tag contains the correct information. Maintains communication with operator, trimmers and others on potential problems. As defective pieces are removed from the line, determines if piece is recoverable by removing film or goes to scrap racks. Ability to work within accordance to OSHA compliance laws and regulations and state labor and health laws. Other Responsibilities: Cleans up around work area when line is stopped. Available to assist operator and other co-workers as needed. Any other assigned tasks
