Ford is seeking a Senior Marketing Automation Specialist to join its US Marketing Communications organization. The Senior Marketing Automation Specialist is part of the Ford Blue’s Marketing CRM Team. This individual will be responsible for an integral part of the team building 1:1 marketing program in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

What you'll do…

  • Establish marketing automation best practices, operationalizing marketing channel support, journey building, optimization and troubleshooting

  • Build Quality Control and execute highly complex brand omnichannel programs and may include overseeing a team of developers build out journey’s (base cadences), and highly complex trigger programs deliver the right message to the right person at the right time through the right channel

  • Ensure high quality, on-time, and error free implementation, testing, and QA of campaigns within the marketing automation platform. Create, review, and share standard quality control documents and follow the process to ensure accuracy and completeness

  • Responsible for leading and managing agency resources in their day-to-day work and perform QA of their programs

  • Help monitor email deliverability across domains for all brand campaigns implemented. Provide recommendations on how to optimize deliverability, resolve IP reputation issues, and ensure proper inbox placement

  • Participate in product management and Engineering deployment activities such as requirements, design, build, QA, and continuous improvement

  • Maintain documents per requirements of department document management policies and procedures

  • Influence and implement capabilities including targeting, personalization, dynamic, personalized content to deliver the best customer experience

  • Keep abreast of 1:1 marketing and email industry best practices and new technology by participating organizations, as well as attending conferences and providing recommendations on how to optimize our processes today

  • Hands-on platform technical Salesforce skills and has the ability to mentor others

  • Identify and drive enhancements to email templates including but not limited to creative tests that maximize defined campaign KPIs and overall growth of the email channel

  • Understands all aspects of Salesforce Marketing Cloud integrations configurations and technical/functional capabilities, including all changes and potential system implications related to the Salesforce Release upgrades

  • Monitor agency SLAs and seamlessly coordinate across time zones as needed

  • Marketing Automation Platform authority

  • Become well versed across all marketing technology platforms and understand how they run, interact, and sync across Salesforce and non-marketing platforms

  • Successfully troubleshoot and identify solutions when presented with problems

You'll have…

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience

  • 4-5 years of job-related work experience; digital or direct marketing experience strongly preferred

  • Hands-on experience managing marketing campaign execution; 2-3 years experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud strongly preferred

Even better, you may have…

  • Demonstrate experience in translating business objectives to email campaigns that deliver towards goals

  • Certifications in Salesforce/Datacloud or other marketing cloud tools

  • Knowledge of SQL Query/Automation Studio and Interaction Studio a plus

  • Ability to multi-task and manage many deadlines

  • Results-driven with focus on campaign measurement and analysis

  • Support marketing and cross-functional teams with urgency to troubleshoot questions related to data accuracy and delivery as they arise

  • Share and build internal knowledge and skills in in platforms and journey design, enabling our team of CRM specialist to understand feasibility of tactics
